In order to collect good backlinks you must first know which ones are seen as qualitative by the search engines. And then there are a few points to keep in mind.
A qualitative backlink is relevant:
First of all, it is important that the backlink is relevant and that it comes from a site that has something in common with you. The intention is that the search engine can see that the backlink has added value for the visitor of the website on which it is located.

Use anchor texts for your backlinks and not a complete domain name. Then it is again important that you build a natural anchor text profile. Leave these in good proportion to each other.
